Electric calorifiers are generally fabricated as a package, to include immersion heaters, control and high limit thermostats, and all necessary safety devices, wired to shell mounted control panels.
The immersion heaters and controls can be designed to maximise the benefits of off-peak electricity rates. Standard heater elements are of the fixed type, and can be supplied in incoloy or copper. Other materials are available, as well as options including replaceable and removable core heater elements.
Control panels as standard are manufactured in epoxy coated mild steel, to IP55 standards. Panels have door interlocked isolators, indicator lamps and volt free common fault signals. Variations to the standard panels can be designed and supplied on request.
